A very dear friend of mine had a birthday in August, and I am ashamed to say that I was rather late in getting this to her. I LOVE this big flower stamp from SU!, I have been wanting to try it out. It is stamped in Adirondack Espresso (my favorite) and then lightly chalked in for a bit of color. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. It's pretty simple, but it was fun to get my supplies out and play.

first birthday

I made this for our niece's 1st birthday which is this weekend. It felt so good to get out my stuff and start crafting again, it's been too long. I picked up the Printworks cupcake stamp and knew I had to use it. PP from KI Memories. I added a little Quickutz flower and colored the cupcake in with pencils. Pretty easy. Thanks for looking.

I made this for my dad for Father's Day. He happens to be a model train lover and is currently working on a new track. I got him a gift certificate for more train supplies.

I was blog surfing not too long ago and came across this cute little gift card holder on Jacynthe's blog. It was just the bit of inspiration I needed. I made a few thank you cards today to send out for the baby's baptism gifts. Here is what I came up with. I have been wanting to use this pp from SEI and decided today was the day. Minis and Mother's Day

Hello! I have actually gotten a little crafting done. I am really far behind on birthday cards. The Mini card is for my dad. My parents are in a Mini Cooper car club and my mom actually got me this stamp. It can be found at coolministuff.com. I thought it was appropriate for my dad. I just stamped it in Adirondack ink. Pretty simple. The pp is from Autumn Leaves and was a perfect match. The circle stamp is from Hero Arts.

I also made a couple of quick Mother's Day cards. It will be a busy day for us. The pp is from K&Co., Amy Butler. Her designs are so pretty. I just picked up a new stack of it at Michaels. The alphabet is QK, Metro Classic. The stamp is from Purple Onion Designs. I love this set. There are so many possibilities for it, I can't wait to use it more. That's about it. hippo birthday

Here is the card I made for my mom's birthday. She happens to be a hippo lover, and has quite the collection.
